About Us

Manochetana is a registered non-profitable, non-commercial, and non-political voluntary service organization. It has been dedicatedly working for the Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities since its inception in the year 1998 with base in the rural part of   Warangal District, Telangana, India. 

Manochetana is established in the rural environment with healthy and eco-friendly environment. It is having spacious land which is donated by the parents of the Founder which needs to be developed with suitable infrastructure matching to the challenges, needs, skills and demands of the target groups with holistic approach.

Manochetana has been active, share, care, welfare and advancement of persons with disabilities. Manochetana helps needy children and empowers them along with their families through multidimensional rehabilitation approaches and further creates supportive and barrier free environment to access  their  Education, Vocational Training, Medical facilities,  Aids and Appliances with support systems and livelihood activities / employment and finally to be part of the community as a productive member with better sustainability and quality of life as a RIGHT.

Vision

The quality of life of every Person with Disabilities and needy is equal to other citizens in community in that they live independently to the maximum extent possible.

Mission

To work for deprived people for their upliftment and betterment with special emphasis on children and women and to provide them with livelihood opportunities and bring them into the mainstream of society. Through constant professional endeavors, empowering the persons with disabilities to access the State-of-the-art rehabilitation, intervention, empowerment, leisure and social, sports and cultural programmes and full participation.

Genesis

The Genesis of Manochetna is quite interesting as it is the brine child of a young and dynamic person, none other than Mr.Venkateswarlu, known as “Venkat”. Being a ruralate, Mr. Venkat has seen the challenges of rural population for basic needs and their vulnerability for water, health, disability, poverty, education, livelihood, disasters… which made him, to be part of the community with “service motto”. This strong and dedicated concern made him to become the professional in the filed of special education with management and thus emerged as a service provider by conceptualizing, establishing and developing MANOCHETANA as a Voluntary Service Organization (NGO).

Leaving lucrative opportunities both at national and international level, Mr. Venkateshwarlu along with his wife who is also a professional in the filed of Special Education is totally dedicating his life for the development of the Organization and thus to empower the people with holistic development and thus to lead quality life on the basis of equality and dignity as a RIGHT.
